Jeff Joyce- Coach

Coach Joyce played three years of varsity football at Baldwin High School where he played Quarterback and Defensive Back.  Throughout his high school career, Coach Joyce set two school records, including most touchdowns a game (6), and most rushing yards in a single game (332 yds).  Coach was named All-Conference Multipurpose Back and was a two-time All Conference Defensive Back.

Coach Joyce went on to play football at Bethany College where he continued his career.  He played quarterback, wide receiver and was on special teams as punt returner and kick returner his Freshman year.  After Freshman year, Coach Joyce moved to defensive back where he played and started for the rest of his college career.  Coach Joyce was a three-time All Conference Defensive Back and was also named D3 kick returner of the week (Sophomore year) and D3 player

of the week on defense (Junior year).  Coach Joyce graduated from Bethany College with a 

  

Bachelor's degree in Psychology and then continued with the football team as a graduate assistant with the defensive backs for one year.  After college, Coach Joyce continued his football career and played for two years in the Rivals Professional Football League in Michigan as a QB and DB.  

Coach Joyce joined Bethel Park last season (2019) as a Freshman and JV defensive backs coach.  Coach Joyce is excited and appreciative of his new role as varsity defensive backs coach this year (2020) and grateful for another year here at Bethel Park!
