Joe Ranalli- Coach
Coach Joe played both football and baseball at Clarion High School graduating in 1964. He was a three year letterman at tight end and defensive end. After high school he was at California State University briefly before existing in the United States Marine Corps. After being discharged from the Marines he became a police officer with the Metropolitan Police Department, Washington DC.
Coach Joe began coaching football and baseball at Gonzaga College High School in 1972 while still on the police force and coached there until his retirement in 1990. In 2016 he was inducted into the Gonzaga Athletic Hall Of Fame.
After retirement he relocated back to his hometown of Clairton and has been coaching many levels and schools. Most notably: Penn State, Pittsburgh Pandas and others.
This will be his seventh season at Bethel Park and as he says "This is the best. Love it here. The school, the administration and especially the great kids".
